Don't waste your money.
I got this for my now 21 month old daughter for her first birthday and I just dumped it by the trash can a few minutes ago for the garbage men to pick up. It's not even worth saving for my summer garage sale. She was never all that intrigued with it, so it hardly got any use aside from throwing the little balls around the rest of the house. It was difficult to construct in the first place, but I finally got it put together...and it seemed to be fine. But when i picked it up to take it to the alley today, the entire top ring was falling off of it and the battery plate fell off - again, after hardly any use in the last 9 months since it has been sitting in the living room. The inflatable ball never stayed inflated due to poor design of the blow hole. The way the sensor works makes the toy especially ridiculous. You have to have it in a where sunlight can't hit it, and with solid colored florring (i.e. no patterned carpet). The sensor sets the sound off at any indication of a shadow change, so as the sun comes through the window the incesent laughter and music can suddenly come on as if possessed. And we also have persian rugs in the house, so when my daughter would crawl under it the toy couldn't tell the difference in the shadows so it wouldn't go off when you wanted it to.
Don't buy this toy...looks as though it may not be available any more anyway because I can't find it on Fisher Price's website...and Amazon says it is out of stock, but other stores online still have it...so be warned...it is simply not worth the money.
