As a working mother, and the primary breadwinner in our family, I count my lucky stars every day that I work from home so I can be with my 10-month old daughter and see all of her new discoveries and "tricks". I am in awe of anyone who can leave the house every day, leaving their children behind and have nothing but the greatest respect for them because I know it takes a tremendous amount of committment and fortitude. Particularly public servants who (theoritically and hopefully albeit cynically) are working for the good of their fellow man. This story about Senator Drollinger in California just really got my goat this morning.
